Stepping Stones is a fun and friendly children's department store based in the beautiful seaside town of Stonehaven, North East Scotland.  We offer a professional foot measure and shoe fitting service with children's foot health at the core of our values.  As well as our vibrant, practical and stylish footwear portfolio, we also offer children’s clothes, toys, gifts, accessories and..... an exclusive children's hairdressing service!

 

We provide a stress- free shopping experience for both parents and children by offering a play-area, a car hairdressing chair with iPads and baby changing facilities.

 

We offer:

• A first-class shoe fitting service, focusing on fit, style, customer requirements and choice.  All first shoes come with a keepsake photograph in a bespoke presentation wallet.

• Our clothing range includes bespoke brands and styles, offering a refreshing alternative to the highstreet for gifts and treats.  Most of our clothes are GOTS certified organic cotton.  GOTS Certified textiles are prohibited from using practices that are damaging to the environment or human health.

• Our range of toys and accessories covers all price points, but reflects the quality and bespoke mantra of our business with a strong focus on education, durability (although not plastic) and value.  Most of our toys are wooden.

 

Stepping Stones is owned and managed by friends Lynn and Mhari who have been firm friends for over 10 years, having met at antenatal classes for their first children, Zoe and Brodie (respectively), in 2007.  Together, they have shared the vision and desire to bring a fresh and exciting childrenswear shop to the North East for over 4 years.
